The purpose of this app is to create music tab files that are more than just text. I noticed on many of the tablature sites that some of the songs have, for lack of a better term, smart-chords. Their smart-chords often allow the user to click on the chords to show the tablature chord shape for guitar. They also allow the user to change the key of a song by transposing it up or down from its given key.
The ultimate goal is to create a file format with the following features:
